I don’t want to criticize Hillary Clinton, because she’s had to endure a lot over the last few months, but a recent movement in her honor is 100% Women Be Trippin’.

 

The Women For Fair Politics “are a grassroots organization that is reacting to the terrible treatment that Hillary Clinton has received during her historic run for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.” To show their outrage at the evil Barack Obama, they’re urging you to vote for John McCain.

 

Never mind that John McCain would like to revoke a woman’s right to choose. Never mind that he voted to end the Title X family planning program, which helps poor women access birth control. Never mind that he voted against funding teen-pregnancy-prevention programs. Never mind that he voted to take $75 million from the Maternal and Child Health Block Grant to establish a new “abstinence-only” program that censors information about birth control. Never mind that he has resisted a woman’s access to birth control via insurance coverage. Never mind that he has opposed equal pay for equal work legislation.

 

Despite McCain’s record on the issues, the Women for Fair Politics will place vindictiveness first when choosing a candidate this November.

 

Update 8/1: The organization has re-dubbed themselves “Real Democrats,” and they vow to take “back our party one neighborhood at a time.”
